Bodine Appoints New Vice President of Manufacturing

Two Area Sales Managers Also Join Company

 

Bodine Electric Company, a leading producer of small motion control products, is pleased to announce that Wes Hawkins has been appointed Vice President of Manufacturing. Wes was previously employed by Schneider Electric/Square D, where he was in charge of manufacturing, logistics and project management. As Vice President of Manufacturing with Bodine, Wes will help continue to implement the many lean-manufacturing initiatives that are currently underway at the company. Wes holds multiple engineering degrees and has over thirty years of management experience. He looks forward to bringing his extensive knowledge of manufacturing best practices to Bodine.

 

Bodine also recently appointed two new Area Sales Managers. Dan Orr will be responsible for sales in the states of Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. Dan has over 20 years experience in motor application and direct OEM sales in his previous positions with Emerson, A. O. Smith and Fasco, as well as distributor sales and market development. He received his B.A. from the University of Illinois, and M.B.A. from LaSalle University in Philadelphia. Johnny Persson joins the company as Area Sales Manager for Scandinavia and the Baltic States. Johnny has 28 years of experience with the Swedish distributor Nodisk Elektra and is a mechanical engineer with a diploma in Marketing Management.
