This integral gearmotor design combines our high-performance type 24A PMDC motor with the all-new 60P (60mm) planetary gearhead. It is ideal for applications that require higher torque than conventional helical\/spur gearheads of a similar size can provide, and where very low backlash gearhead is not required. Typical applications include conveyors, pumps, packaging, industrial automation and wide range of solar- or battery-powered equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Our initial product launch includes <strong>twenty-four (24) standard models<\/strong> with gear ratios from 4:1 to 162:1. These stock models are offered with 90\/130V, 24V or 12V windings. Rated torque ranges from 4.6 lb-in (0.5 Nm) <strong>to 226 lb-in (26 Nm)<\/strong>. The 24A-60P gearmotor is <strong>designed to meet IP-66<\/strong> ingress protection standards (an optional face mount seal kit is required to seal the output shaft to IP-66). Stock models are available with either US\/Inch or Metric drive shaft and mounting details.<\/p>\n<p><strong>All-new type 60P Planetary Gearhead <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The new 60P gearhead is designed and manufactured by Bodine Electric Company. This unvented gearhousing mounts in any orientation. The gearhead is permanently lubricated with a high-performance grease, and features needle bearing supported, hardened steel gears for long life and maximum performance. The standard backlash of this gearhead is less than one degree (&lt;60 arc min).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Availability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 24A-60P planetary gearmotors and their corresponding flange mount accessory kits are available through Bodine\u2019s extensive distributor network or from the Bodine web site.
