Bodine Electric Company's new variable speed, type 48R6BFPP-CG (AC) and 42A7BEPM-CG (DC) gearmotors have a maximum continuous output rating of 1000 lb-in, more than double the rating of the largest gearmotor previously available from Bodine. These gearmotors are ideal for applications that require tremendous torque from a small package.

The power behind the new AC gearmotor is Bodine's PACESETTER™ 48R motor, which features Class F insulation. Bodine's unique Quintsulation™ 5-stage insulation system provides superior performance and reliability in any variable speed application, or when operated from a three-phase line.

The new type "CG" integral gear reducer unleashes the full potential of Bodine's most powerful 48R AC induction motors and 42A DC motors. The 48R-CG and 42A-CG gearmotors produce up to 1000 lb-in torque. The 3-stage gearing cluster of selectively hardened helical gears is permanently lubricated with a high-performance grease.

The unvented gear reducer can be mounted in virtually any position, by means of its integral face-mounting flange, with no lubricant leakage. A huge 1 inch diameter driveshaft, with keyway, delivers the tremendous output torque to the load. Like all Bodine products, the 48R-CG and 42A-CG will last longer in a demanding application than any comparable product.
