Celebrating 120 Years of Excellence

We are proud to celebrate 120 years of Bodine Electric Company! Bodine Electric was founded on May 10, 1905, and since then has remained family owned with 3rd and 4th generation family members actively working towards continued success for our company. The continued involvement of the Bodine family and the dedicated support of our employees has been the key to remaining in business for well over a century.

We could not do it without the hard work of our current and past employees who have made such a positive impact on this company. Their experience and unwavering support have created an environment that has stood the test of time. So many of our employees have worked at Bodine Electric for literally decades. Our products reflect this. The experience and expertise of our team results in gearmotors, motors, and controls that run flawlessly and last so long in so many different applications. Which is why so many of our customers are so loyal to Bodine and turn to us for support when needed.

Although Bodine’s official anniversary date is May 10, we celebrated with a special luncheon at our Peosta, Iowa headquarters on May 6 and then again at our Northfield, Illinois factory on May 8. Quite a few of our retirees joined the celebration at Northfield.

To both our past and present employees – we thank you for everything you have done and continue to do to get us to this point in Bodine Electric Company’s history!
