AC Controls

Bodine offers both chassis and enclosed AC inverter speed controls. The drives provide variable speed control for inverter-duty rated, 230VAC, or 230/460VAC, three-phase AC induction motors and gearmotors, and feature the state-of-the-art IGBTs for power, and the latest microprocessors for control. Matched with inverter-duty AC motors, the adjustable speed system offers an alternative to DC motor and drive systems. High frequency pulse width modulation (PWM) output keeps the system quiet. Enclosed NEMA-1 / IP-40 and NEMA-4X / IP-65 motor speed controls are rated for continuous operation in an up to +40° C ambient and designed for stand-alone operation. These controls are ideal for variable-speed applications such as conveyors, packaging equipment, door and gate openers, and other industrial or commercial equipment. IP-00 open chassis models are intended for installation in OEM machinery. 

Bodine AC inverter speed controls are eligible for an extended 2-year system warranty when a purchased together with a matched AC inverter-duty gearmotor or motor.
